  • Come enjoy a real log cabin experience in the quiet hills of Hocking Hills/Lake Logan. Enjoy a cup of coffee on the front porch at the entrance! Inside the beautifully furnished cabins you will enjoy a living area with a futon and TV, a kitchen featuring gas range with oven, microwave, and a refrigerator, and a full bathroom. They feature a private room with a queen bed, a bunk bed, and a futon that can convert into a bed for additional guests. Cabin is equipped with one TV & a DVD player which are centrally located in the main living area. Air-conditioning and heat keep the cabin comfortable in all seasons. Your outdoor living space includes a concrete patio in the front with seating. Every cabin has its own charcoal grill, picnic table, and fire pit area. A parking pad is provided in front of the cabin. All campground amenities are available with registration. Young children are free, so please do not include children 2 and under in your reservation count.

If you want family fun come to the Hilltop Resort!

Beautiful, cabin cozy, staff friendly and personable, lots to do! This is going to be a regular vacation destination! It has a kind and friendly clean atmosphere.

Great place to stay

The cabin was absolutely gorgeous! It was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and provided a peaceful and relaxing stay. This was precisely what we needed to unwind and de-stress. I highly recommend this property, and I’m already planning to visit again!

Overall, we had a great time and the facility was great. We did have to let the AC unit dethaw before we could use it to cool down the cabin but after that everything was working great.

Fall Break

We love this campground and will be back again! My kids are 13,15, and 17 and truly enjoyed all of the activities on site as well as the proximity to trail heads for hiking. It’s a peaceful place and also nice how convenient the location is to town (5 min or less). Cabin was clean and fully stocked for all of our needs!

Hilltop Resort

The resort was great, cabin was very clean and comfortable. VRBO description was off. It was listed as 3 bedrooms, sleeps 6. Once I booked it I received the floor plan. It was 1 bedroom, bunks in the hallway, and a futon in the living room. I do not blame the resort, I feel it was VRBO that got it wrong.

I would have give 5 stars f it weren’t or the futon. It was easy to fold out into a bed but super hard to close it back up into a couch.

Just what we needed

"Call me Ishmael....whenever I find myself growing grind around the mouth....methodically knocking people's hats off--then I account it high time to get to sea as soon as I can" (Moby Dick). My family needed a break from the weeks of emotional stress. Instead of the sea, we chose the woods. Thank you! It was just what we needed. Our cabin was perfect. You are the best.

This place is a work in process place expanding. The cabins are nice and the area was quiet.

Our cabins shower had little hot water because of the setting on the valve, the handle wouldn’t turn far enough to the hot side and the furnace stopped working at night so the morning was quiet cold. We got in late Friday night and left 7:00 am on Sunday morning. Not sure that I’ll stay here again. The area has many other places to stay.

Nice place

The cabin was as expected. Nice, clean, and quiet. We rented this place just to sleep, as we were going to be hiking the majority of the days. The only negative thing I can say is the window AC UNIT in the bedroom let A LOT of cold air in as the bedroom was freezing at night. I Would absolutely rent it again, but bring a small space heater if your going in the colder months!

First time here

We had one of the best times ever at this campground. We stayed in cabin 119. It was very clean and well stocked. It was a short walk from all of the amenities which include a jumping pillow, mini golf, Gaga ball pit, basketball court and sand volleyball court. Our son absolutely loved the jumping pillow and made several new friends there. The campground was a short drive from many of the popular trails, general store and grocery stores. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We will definitely return!!

Super cute, clean, and quiet!

We had a super late check in, so i contacted the property and they worked with us no problem. It was easy to find, easy to get in, and was exactly as described. We stayed in cabin 119, it was me, my mom, and my teenage daughter. There was a queen bed room, two twin bunks, and a very nice, plush pull out futon in the living room. Mom wished the tv was in the bedroom instead of the living room, and the futon is designed on a sliding rail instead springs so it was a challenge, and a two person job, to get it to lay flat and then to fold it back up in the morning. The cabin was immaculately clean and had everything a kitchen needs. They are set up in a trailer park like setting and were pretty close together, also the parking was not clear and there was not much room to park without blocking in the neighbors. The people and property observed the quiet time of 11pm to 8 am then at 9 the commotion of people and equipment started. Oh, also when youre looking at the map, the lake looks accessible and close to the cabins, but it's not. It's on the other side of all the trees and has to be hiked to from a path, just fyi. This is a regular camp ground and not secluded and additional cabins are currently being added, so there is some construction. Everyone was very friendly and accomodating though. Overall it was very comfortable. Very clean, and we would definitely stay there again.
