"Very clean and well equipped. Check in information good. Getting information on how to check out at 1:55 in the morning was less than helpful as it woke us up. We have to leave some alerts on as husband receives medical alerts overnight. It may not be a problem for those who can switch a do not disturb on. "We had a lovely few days at the cottage. It was comfy and cosy and had everything we needed.Jane and Malcolm were lovely, friendly and had lots of free range hens, who our son fell in love with! Perfectly situated for walks or bike rides in the forest, which was literally just out the front door! Just lovely!"

"We had a wonderful time at Bank Cottage. Well equipped and lovely and clean. The garden was excellent for our dog. The decking area was fab. Only thing to consider lots of steps so not good for people with mobility issues. We will definitely be back. Wine was a nice welcome x"

"First off when arriving at the property there was no onsite parking as advertised, there was parking to the rear which you would think were for there but was told it was private and was not anything to do with the property and told there was small parking bays just up from the front of the property which were on a public road and were all full, to me this is not classed as onsite parking, onsite parking is parking designated for the property and owned by the property. "This was our third visit (possible fourth) and it was a pleasure to return. It is an excellent spot for those who love nature and walking, there are many great walks from the door and especially when you have collie dogs as we have who are happy to roam in the hills for hours.
