    Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Toilet. Electric underfloor heating, electricity, bed linen and towels included. Welcome pack. Enclosed garden with sitting-out area and stone bath. Bike store. Public car park. No smoking.. The cosy accommodation is set on Woodlake Park Golf Club and boasts spectacular views over Llandegfedd Reservoir, the Brecon Beacons and the Black Mountains. The hut is sat on a plot at the top of the golf course to get the best of the views. Head up to the hut in your own golf buggy and relax in the peaceful setting – the plot enjoys a good-sized enclosed garden with a beautiful outdoor stone bath with running hot water, barbecue/firepit, outdoor seating so you can enjoy the views, as well as a shed (suitable for storing bikes and other equipment). Inside, the hut is an open plan living space to include a comfy sofa, wood burner, kitchenette with breakfast bar, a cosy double bed area and a shower room.

    When you stay, there is plenty to see and do nearby. A round of golf could be a good place to start! Llandegfedd Reservoir is just a stone’s throw away - where you can try out some water sports and other activities or enjoy a walk in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Further afield, the location lends itself well to exploring more of South Wales, the nearby picturesque town of Usk sits on the river and has a range of independent shops, cafés and restaurants or slightly further afield, Abergavenny is a lively market town full of history and renowned for its annual food festival. Sugarloaf Hut is a member of the Woodland Champions Club, who are committed to preserving the beauty of the landscape and conserving woodland. The hut is also located within the grounds of the Golf Club so access to and from the hut will be by golf buggy or foot, and due care should be taken whilst on the course. An EV charger is available at the golf club.

We had the most wonderful stay! The location is exquisite, so peaceful and an absolutely stunning view. The hut is gorgeous - cute, cosy and really romantic. Mike was super helpful with everything. Even had an EV charge point to charge the car! We will be back I'm sure :)

We had a great week. The accommodation was perfect. The location was amazing. Great countryside, numerous opportunities for exploring and walking. Everyone was really friendly. We loved it (and so did the dog).

We had a brilliant time, the location is stunning and the hut is beautifully finished. We were very lucky with the weather and managed to enjoy the BBQ and outside bath. It's well located and shops and places to eat are a short driving distance. Would recommend and would go back!

Lovely accommodation with amazing views set in peaceful surroundings.

Lovely accommodation with amazing views set in peaceful surroundings. Many thanks for the extra touches that were left in the hut for us which made our Christmas stay special. Would have given 5 stars if the bed had not been so uncomfortable. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing break in a lovely setting

Friendly welcome.

Friendly welcome. The hut was absolutely spotless. Great welcome pack. The hut had everything that you would need. Bed was so comfortable, great sleep. We didn’t have any hot water one day so we messaged for help. We received an instant message back that someone would be there asap. Within 10 minutes max it was sorted which was just a gas bottle swap. Beautiful scenery and was totally relaxing. We could not fault our stay we did not want to leave.
