"The room was spotless and beautifully furnished; the bathroom was modern with plenty of shampoo, soap etc. The hotel itself has kept the charm of its age but with modern facilities. The staff were friendly and helpful, particularly when we had trouble locating the car park. We had a full english breakfast which was plenty for us. "

"The staff were amazing nothing was to much trouble, we requested a quieter room due to it being a Saturday night and was put on the 2nd floor. The restaurant food was lovely, this is such a lovely place to stay in Shrewsbury very central would definitely stay here again in the summer "

"Food was wonderful. Room was very clean, with a lovely tray of tea, coffee and biscuits. They have an information pack in the room that gives all relevant information. They have information available for walks in the local area. It is in the middle of nowhere, so use the restaurant if here for a night. "

"We have stopped in many hotels and over the past 10 years and this is up there as an absolute delight. The staff are warm and friendly - all on duty over our stay need to be commended for their commitment to ensure guests feel looked after!
