"We booked the best suite in the hotel—a lake-view room. Between the bedroom and the bathroom, the ceiling tiles were damaged. The AC was extremely loud, like a helicopter landing each time it started. The bedsheets and pillows smelled moldy. Thankfully it was just one night, but I won’t stay in Lakeland again. "It was great for the one night I was there. Right next to a big mall with lots of restaurants and a movie theater. Room was great and the helpful front desk staff were very friendly. I didn’t love the smell of the room. Not smoky, just didn’t like the smell of the cleanser. It was too strong. Other than that it was a perfect day."

"I stayed for two nights and they were good. Allison who worked at the front desk on arrival was very helpful and nice. The room was nice it had a microwave and mini fridge. The AC worked. The bed was comfortable and the pillow was bit flat and hard. The location is great if you’re heading to Tampa or Orlando. If you take the backroads behind the hotel it will lead you to plenty of restaurants and the mall."

"At check in we had an issue with the room and front desk helped me with the situation. I was moved inmediately to another. The staff was very helpful and friendly."

"Overall experience was okay, my biggest concern or complaint was that there was no shower gel or lotion. I had to provide my own. Luckily there were nearby stores to buy those things. But I couldn’t believe the hotel was completely out. I thought it wasn’t in my room because staff forgot, only to go downstairs to be told there wasn’t any. I was offered shampoo. That’s something I’ve never used to shower. Other than that everything else was fine."
