"Great place. We arrived after hours and never met the staff. Room was big, clean and comfortable. Recommend updates such as a coffee maker in the room or on each floor, also a grab bar/towel bar by shower would be great. Finally, stress the fact there are no elevators and if your room is on the 4th floor you carry your luggage up 45 stairs. Staying here was a great experience staying in a historic building almost 200 years old and I truly felt the history!! KUDOS TO THE RESTORERS!!"

"Great breakfast and location."

"If you are looking for a quiet stay in the middle of the NH Lake Sunapee region, this is your place. From the moment we stepped into the Inn to the time we left, it was a great experience. The game closet was full with fun games and the other guests we met were great to hang out with. No TV made everyone actually talk to each other and learn about each other. So, we changed it ourselves to heat. 3. The locks on the doors didn't really work; we had to really work them. We thought we were locked...

"This was my 3rd time staying at Dexter’s Inn and hopefully not the last. It is a wonderful inn with easy access to Mount Sunapee. "

"My room was immaculate. I was pleasantly surprised with all the amenities, including a refrigerator and microwave. The only thing that I would have liked to have was a robe hook on the bathroom door. Other than that it was perfect !"

"This was a very poor experience. We had no water for shower, and no water in kitchen sink. We checked in late at night, got up to take showers, and weren't able to do so because there was no water. We'd rented the cabin to go to a wedding and weekend events. Checked out an hour before checkout time to get to the event--unshowered-- and called the host, who didn't pick up. Left a message reporting the problem, and then we were told that we should have spoke to him to have him fix the problem...
