The only know is go shopping prior to arriving. We went to Shaws that was 17 min away. It was so grossly over priced. Maybe due to the remoteness of the area....other than that this was a fantastic getaway. "

"The house was cute and comfortable. I loved the old feel of it. The location was remote and serene, and we enjoyed the sound of the river across the street while chatting on the porch. We had no problem with making our meals, as the kitchen was sufficiently equipped. Our dog was very comfortable and surprised by a visit from some Guinea hens in the morning. "Our stay here was wonderful! The property is gorgeous, so much space to spread out for our yearly family vacation (32 of us!). The kitchen is amazing!! You’ll have anything and everything you would need to cook. The pool was great for the kids, the deck outside overlooking the pond is a great spot to relax with a drink and snacks. Communication with the owner was quick and easy, it was clean and really had everything we needed to enjoy hanging with our family. Highly recommend!!"

"This was a great location to Mt. Sunapee! Kitchen had everything we needed, beds were comfortable, and house was warm. Could use TV instructions, as remotes did not function. We enjoyed 4 nights, pretty low maintenance family, spent most of our time snowboarding. We brought our dog, and she loved it as she found a toy and we forgot to pack her one!"

"My husband and I came from Michigan and met family from Massachusetts to run the Covered Bridges Half Marathon! This spot was so perfect—we loved the coffee bar and just enjoyed how comfortable and homey the whole place feels. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!"

"This lovely home on the serene Chalk Pond was a great place to get away. The house is beautifully decorated, while still being practical. The fact that they allow dogs is a nice bonus. "Came up for our annual golf trip, house was great! Plenty of room for our group. The house had everything we needed, just wish we had better weather to take advantage of the outdoor setup. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a nice peaceful getaway."
