"Love the fact it was a duplex with two kitchens. Each bedroom had their own bathroom. Need some TLC of minor fixes. We had a great time using this as base camp!"

"Our third yearly stay at the cabin. Recommend you try the Pond Mill Farms, Legs Inn, Good Heart General Store, and Trillium Woods Coffee shop. Cabin is always clean and comfortable, especially the evening fires in the stone wall fireplace. "

"We had a great time! Location was convenient to both Mackinaw City and Cheboygan. Dog friendly with room to let them play and a great trail to walk. This is an eclectic place with pop culture Easter eggs sprinkled throughout.This was a comfortable place for a quiet weekend. "

"It is always a pleasure staying at Lakeside. The lake was lovely and we were able to sneak a campfire in between the rain storms. Make sure to read the notes that Ritchie sends your way as it spells out exactly what you need to bring - trash bags, shampoo, etc. On VRBO, the pet fee was not very clear. It read as 25 per pet not per night, so that was a surprise as we stayed 2 nights. That may be because I booked via mobile, though, and it did not show correctly. I was unable to add a pet to my...

"Great location, quiet, secluded cabin only a few minutes from town and beginning of the tunnel of trees. There is a good restaurant and a gas station 2 minutes away. Stocked with many extras like games and firewood. Beds were comfy. Communication with John was quick and clear. Excellent value for the price!"

"Secluded spot on family farm, perfect dipping spot on the bear river, is by a busy road, so not so quiet, bring ear plugs, water, firewood, canoe livery right across the road, fun river to drift"

"Great place to stay! So clean, cute, and comfy. We loved the firepit outside and the fireplace inside. The view of the lake was beautiful, and it was only a few minutes from Mackinaw City. We would definitely stay there again! "

"We had a great time here! Very quaint, clean, and picturesque! Karen communicated well and was friendly. We would definitely come back with the kids! This is a place for people who respect private property and nature; it is maintained well; and we hope to enjoy this place again in the future. "

"Great location, price, pet friendly and response of host. Had a lot of room to move around. Our only downside was the shower pressure. It seems to still be a work in progress but overall they rocked it out for us. We are low key kinda people so overall give it a 4 out of 5 stars. "

"We were a group of 11 and all Seniors. The rooms were all so interesting as the house was decorated with some beautiful artwork. We took advantage of a fun game room, home theater room, hot tub and pontoon boat! We cruised and fished on Mullet Lake. While staying here we took a day trip to Makinaw Island which was a 40 minute drive to catch the ferry… very convenient!The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well equipped.
