"Our family has stayed here twice for a family reunion. My daughter remarked that it’s beginning to feel like home. The last time we stayed here, we thought the home was perfect, yet this time it has been renovated. And Wow- it is magnificent. One of the cleanest and most well stocked homes we’ve ever rented. We can’t wait to come back next year! "

We had to contact the owner a couple of times about minor things and they responded immediately. We will definitely be going back. "The cottage was exactly as described in the listing and the reviews. My teenage son and I stayed here during a trip to the area for baseball, and it was perfect for us. We were close enough to where he was playing yet far enough away that we could enjoy the quietness. We enjoyed fishing the ponds and appreciated the little touches and supplies provided inside the cottage. We will definitely look to stay here again if baseball brings us back to the area."

"Lyn graciously opened her home to us. What a beautiful lake home. It was very roomy, better than described. We enjoyed the huge back deck under the shade trees and the dock where we played in the water all day. We were able to dock a pontoon inside one of the slips. Lots of memories were made during our long weekend. My personal favorite part was the eclectic decor. Such fun little things tucked in unexpected places. Thank you Lyn! "

"Cave Spring is a little no-name town with one traffic light and a handful of history, restaurants, and antique shops. Head up Mill Road into the mountains and instantly fall head over heels in love with Mother Nature. The cabin sits back off the road, down a long, narrow driveway. "We loved this wonderful cabin on the lake. The inside was beautifully decorated. We also enjoyed all the moments outside with coffee on the porch and making smores by the fire. This cabin is close to beautiful waterfalls and hiking trails. My only regret is that we could not stay longer. "
