"My adult daughter and I were in the mountains for a family wedding, and loved staying 2 nights at this quiet, country smokehouse-turned-cabin. The living room/art studio has huge windows looking out over a large pond full of water lilies. A peacock and several peahens enjoyed the sunny side porch in the mornings. Another room is full of vintage collectibles and antiques. The bathroom is small and basic, but the kitchenette features a fine Home Comfort oven plus microwave, refrigerator and...

"First off, we have never stayed in a yurt before so have nothing to compare this yurt with. We've had friends to and they have had good things to say. Since this was a last-minute trip and we wanted to be close to the trailhead, we decided to try out this yurt that advertised that it was "7" minutes from the trailhead. and was "luxurious"!!!!! It ended up being 24 minutes. I'm glad I had GPS because the way that the host told us to go, was in the opposite direction and there was NOTHING...

"Overall, we had a pleasant stay. The property was clean, comfortable, and in a convenient location close to the city, which made it easy to get around. There are a few things future guests should be aware of. The biggest downside was the noise. At night, there was a significant amount of traffic noise, including what sounded like cars racing, and the nearby train could also be be heard.
