"Beautiful hotel, excellent location. Breakfast was amazing - good quality bread, loved the fact there were ginger shots, fresh fruit, plenty of hot and cold food to choose from. Room was very comfortable, with quality bedding - many pillows!, thick towels, coffee machine, magnifying mirror and a brilliant hairdryer. "This hotel is in a great location right outside Copenhagen Central station. They offered online check-out so you don't have to queue at reception on your way out. You could order amenities (cutlery, extra towels etc) for your room on an app. If you opt out of daily housekeeping, you get a free drink per guest for each day you skip housekeeping, which we didn't redeem but we thought it was a nice touch. "The stay blew away our expectations. We got a suite instead of a single room. The staff were probably the friendliest people in Copenhagen. The views of the canal out the window, the details paid to everything (the hidden fridge), the great water pressure. It's been years, maybe decades since a hotel impressed me as much as our stay at the Kanalhuset did."

"Location is ok if you want to be near the train station and tivoli. Brian at check-in was great. Tiny bathroom and sink so small it’s hard to use. Hasn’t been changed in 2 years so doesn’t seem like they take on the repeated feedback. Hot weather meant air con didn’t work at all and staff said to open window instead, but loud music from the bar opposite until late each evening made it very difficult, plus with the sun not setting til late you need windows/blinds closed to sleep.
