"It was a special trip for my wife's birthday. The accommodation was fabulous, very clean and Bolters restaurant was also very nice. Had dinner at the terrace restaurant as well. The food and service was great but before going to the club I had been asked via email if this was a special occasion and i had advised that it was my wife's 75th birthday. However I didn't understand why I was asked as no mention was made of if when we dined."

"Our stay in the ‘Heritage cottage’ was exactly as described—quaint, cozy, and full of charm. The woodfire heater made it extra snug, and the setting was absolutely beautiful with rolling views and friendly alpacas, sheep, and chickens just outside. The welcome breakfast pack was a thoughtful touch, with fresh locally sourced bread, milk, juice, eggs, and bacon. "Restful, clean & peaceful stay at these cute cabins. Many kitchen essentials like salt, pepper, oil, glas wrap, foil etc were supplied that made our stay comfortable. Gorgeous outlook over the mountains added a feeling of serenity to our lo ely stay. This is our 2nd time here & would definitely stay again on our next trip to Tassy. 👍"

"Beautiful. It was quite cold when we got there but that fantastic wood fire heater had the whole house warm and cosy in no time at all. It snowed when we were there and since none of us had seen snow it was a really magical experience. Although there is a cluster of houses where this place is there was no one else there which made it very private. Will definitely return. "

"Open fire in a restored old cottage. Lots of Space and a fantastique view. Slight hiccup with hot water but owners most attentive about fixing or providing alternative. Few places in the world you can expérience authentic accommodation on a working farm in the same family for two centuries! Expédia charged significantly more than website itself. "

"Check in was very smooth with great communication from hosts. Incredible views! Warm comfortable bedding, with spacious rooms, it had everything we needed. Very close to town, with IGA (and more importantly coffee!) just a street over. Would recommend a stay here. "

"What a cool place to stay. If travelling to a remote mystical place isn't enough, step into this absolute comfort zone. Tucked away down a funny dirt road, this place is THE PLACE you want to arrive to. Space, fireplaces, ability to cut wood, go and entertain in the openness of the kitchen to those relaxing by the fireplace of a very generous lounge area. This is luxury after a day's travelling. Devine!"

"A unique town in northern Tasmania known for its penny farthing bike race. Worth getting off the highway for a visit. Will certainly go back. "

"Georgia and Peter are wonderful hosts. Our room was so comfortable and included everything you'd need for self catering. Loved the freshly baked bread and loose leaf tea. An easy walk into town. Deloraine Espresso makes the best coffee and we enjoyed our meals at The Empire Hotel."
