Summary:
For your upcoming stay, look no further than this airy, secluded log cabin overlooking the beautiful Tyringham Valley. On the first floor, you will find a great room with vaulted ceilings and a fireplace, as well as a master suite, second bedroom, half bath and recently renovated kitchen. The second floor includes two more bedrooms and a bathroom. The exterior offers a screen porch with hot tub, wraparound deck and 35+ acres of woods bordering conservation land in Monterey.

Getting Around:
Guests will need a car in order to get to the property as well as to enjoy what the surrounding area has to offer. As the house is located on the side of a mountain, a car with four-wheel drive is recommended, and snow tires or chains are advised in icy weather.

We had a wonderful stay for the night! We came to visit Jacob's Pillow and we loved it here. We want to come back for a longer stay. Just remember to save your info about the house because you do lose service at a certain point away from Tyrim. We got there and I couldn't access my email with the instructions. Highly recommended. Clean. Beautiful. Spacious. Welcoming. We loved it. We will be back!

Lovely Home

What a beautiful spot for our girls' trip. Plenty of room, big, well-outfitted kitchen and lovely fireplace. We hope to come back during the summer or fall when views should be stunning.

Disappointment

The access codes did not work and we were unable to reach the owner for help. Fortunately both of the sliding doors on the porch were unlocked. Otherwise we would have been stranded. The showers were out of bodywash soap so we had to wash with shampoo. 8 of the windows were also unlocked as well so we had to check the whole house to ensure no intruders were there. The majority of the light bulbs were not working so it was an extremely dark environment. We werent able to use the hot tub due to heavy cobwebs around it. Which made it feel unsafe. Cabinet doors and knobs were hanging and loose. There were no directions for anything. Which left us spending time trying to figure things out. Time that took from our stay. Also the online ad showed a manicured property. What we got was overgrown The structure itself is great. Ive never left a bad review for any of our stays but for almost $1000 per night we were extremely disappointed with what we got.

Tyringham Retreat

A wonderful home with beautiful vistas of the Berkshires and a peaceful setting. Close to all the major attractions of the area while secluded on a ridge overlooking the hills. Perfect spot and highly recommended!

Fantastic Property

Our family of four and one other family stayed here for a short late-season trip to ski at Butternut and just spend an evening together, and this property was absolutely fantastic. Though a bit off the beaten path, once we arrived it was clean, welcoming, and fully stocked, and we had an absolutely wonderful evening. The kids had plenty to do with plenty of games to keep them occupied, the kitchen was well provisioned, and the beds were comfortable for all. We hope to stay here again soon!

Short Get Away

This house is beautiful and so are the views and gardens. It had all the amenities, including a great selection of games & books. Very spacious and close to Stockbridge, Lenox, and Lee. We’d stay again for sure and bring the kids.
