The room is very spacious - living room facilities, small kitchenette area (fridge and kettle, simple breakfast items of yoghurt, cereal, juice and welsh cakes, fresh milk and tea and coffee included), huge comfy bed, lovely bathroom and shower. All very clean. 4th stay at this property. "

"Beautiful location. Straightforward to locate and ample parking, which was great. Warm welcome and easy check-in. Room was very hot (radiators work well!); helpful assistance provided to turn radiators off. Room was clean, bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately power outage (while I was asleep) meant TV turned itself on in the night! Lovely to have tea, coffee and a small biscuit. Would have been wonderful if there were a bottle of water, though this was offered on check out fire the drive...

"The apartment was ok. Bedside table broken, bin lid wouldn’t shut. Hairs in bedroom and bathroom Floor dusty, needed a good clean! The worst thing was the noise from the surrounding bars and cafes, booming music all day and most of the evening, couldn’t relax or sit outside "

"The room did the job - but numerous issues. Missing some basic necessities like a bedside light. Had to use the public wifi from the bar downstairs which was choppy at best. The problems started right from the beginning. Check in according to the website was 10:00pm. But at 8:30pm I had a message saying I wouldn't be able to check in after 9 as the bar shuts at that point. I was on a train so unable to get there for that time, and somebody very kindly stayed to let me in, but they still...

"I had a terrible experience with my hotel booking yesterday. I made the reservation in the morning and informed the owner, John, that we would arrive late, after 9:00 PM. She told me there would be a £60 late check-in charge, which I agreed to. At 9:00 PM, she messaged me, and I explained that due to traffic and an accident, we would be delayed by about an hour. "From the outset the reception was chaotic with lots of noisey people. I had to queue for self check-in. I queried why there was a £5 car parking charge when this hadn't been pointed out prior to my booking. I asked why this was and he said because I booked with Expedia. So be careful. The hotel was tired and not worth the money."
