Almost any facilities and extras you could want or need were already provided, with such care and attention to detail across all the areas. "Excellent location, staff is lovely. Hotel is very clean in all areas but could do better with room cleaning. We had to remind to clean ours couple of times even after putting the sign on the door. When we came back, it seemed like being done in a rush. Bed was made but pillows were not neatly kept. It was overall good but would have expected better from a 4 star property. "Another great stay . Spotless rooms and facilities (we stayed in the barn annexe). Staff excellent and breakfast first class. Lots of variety and uses local produce for their meals. We ate our evening meals there as well. Will definitely go back again . "

"The Bridge Inn at Holmrook. Our room was really comfortable, warm and spotlessly clean and well maintained. The whole of the Bridge Inn is dog friendly and welcoming to our pair of 4paws. The breakfast was brilliant. There's a really good selection to choose from and everything was cooked to perfection. We ate at the Bridge Inn every night because the food was excellent. The last time we ate food that good was when we ate at James Martin's restaurant. The menu had just the right amount of dishes...

"It's in a remote location which is nice if you want to get away from it all. Good value. The sat navigation took us down a very potholed road but the road on the other side was in better condition so just something to be aware of. Characterful hotel, particularly the foyer. The breakfast was ok, very filling. Service was a bit chaotic with no plates when we arrived so had to wait. Rooms were nice and clean. Staff were welcoming. The games room has seen better days. "

"Overall the stay was fine, nothing alarming. Hotel looked really nice as we entered. However, the quality and standard of rooms were below expectations of a high reviewed/ star hotel. One example being the bathroom, shower heads were not consistent in the water pressure and so caused a lot of spraying all across. "It was our second stay at the Victorian and it won’t be our last. The room we had was very spacious and most definitely ‘dog friendly’. Our bed was comfortable and the breakfast experience was very pleasant with good quality food. Staff were very attentive and helped enhance our stay."
