"Quaysiders resort is an apartment/hotel right by the upper side of Lake Windermere in Ambleside. It is in an absolutely perfect location close to the lake, shops, restaurants. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with a kitchen that had all kitchen amenities. Our Apartment was very clean and spacious . There is an indoor pool that was warm and it can also be like a Jacuzzi. There is also a Sauna. The resort also has a laundry room and dryer so I was able to do my laundry while on our stay.

"We spent four nights recently in Serendipity in the Lakelands complex in Ambleside. We were delighted to find it clean, comfortable and well located with just steps to the local Tesco, shops and restaurants. The king-sized bed was very comfortable. "We had a wonderful long weekend at Halfway House.It was ideal situated just outside Ambleside but with easy access to activities, shops and restaurants.The house was old but beautifully renovated and kept. The comfort of the beds stood out!! The bathrooms were lovely and apart from fairly low pressured showers were great. We enjoyed the garden and outside areas between the showers!"
