"Perfect crash pad for a weekend hockey tournament at Extreme Ice Center. Nice breakfast area, and room had a very nice renovated bathroom. In room a/c was meh. Anything not top notch with the room was minor (a few inop outlets, aforementioned weird a/c unit), but all the must-haves (bathroom, bed, breakfast) were very good. "

"Because it's a Marriot, I expected a bit more than what I got. After reading some of the reviews I was confident this hotel would be great for my husband and I to spend 4 days in as we attended a conference in town. I was wrong. My room was sub-par for the price. Dirty carpet, areas on the wall that had been repainted a different color as though they were painting test swatches, the bedding was paper thin, the patio door had been left unlocked, and the room smelled terrible. I would have given 5 stars but I did have done aunts in the room and charging for parking when you have your own parking is ridiculous. I have always loved staying at HGI and I haven’t traveled in a while. They never charged for parking in Orlando. If you have to use a community parking deck I’d understand but not when you have your own, on your property. That’s just wrong. ...
