"The condo is newer with plenty of space. All the basics were available (soap, utensils, laundry detergent, etc). We enjoyed walking to breakfast and a winery too. A quick drive to many other wineries and dining options. There are two sets of stairs to the top floor, but we were expecting this from the listing information. However, as another reviewer mentioned, there are fruit flies. Not just a few, probably hundreds. Our family was going out for all meals, so we did not cook there. I would not...

"We stayed with our four kids and brought the boat. The kids fished off the dock where we parked the boat during our stay. In walking distance of a grocery store, Fiddleheads breakfast/lunch spot, the Boathouse Winery, the Capital Dog (great ice cream), a True Value and even a gas station.Plenty of seating on the deck and the four queen beds (two were pull out couches) worked for our family. "We booked this last minute and we were so glad we did. Easy day trips to Suttons Bay, Leland and Sleeping Bear Dunes. The lake by the house was world’s largest kiddie pool…clear water, great for kids, great for swimming and we loved the kayaks and beautiful sunsets. House was well stocked (minus a hairdryer) and we had a wonderful trip! There were 5 of us and it was a perfect size!"

"It was no contact check-in.Quiet,nice area. No desk people,but was able to keep contact with on line chat. Rooms each have small refrigerators & microwaves.Each floor has kitchens in meeting area & full size refrigerators. Have coffee & tea available,but wish they would have creamers available.Chat lady suggested going to store,but I like waking up,have 1st cup of coffee in my p.js. It would be nice to have vending machines in lobby to purchase items,so don’t have to run to store."

"Excellent large, attractive spaces— beautifully decorated ! Asked for a 2 bedroom and was given a 3 bedroom, well equipped bathrooms . The balcony had glass windbreaks which made the wind off Lake Michigan more bearable on the windy days. Would stay again, again, & again!"

"Very good communication, easy accessible great downtown area. They should have mentioned in the beginning that parking would be an issue, we did not find that should be the case. I would suggest that the owners put wash clothes in the bathroom to be used there were none in there."

"We stayed at this cozy house for a week and it was perfect. It was in the country so we felt like we got away, yet it was close to Traverse City for dining and shopping. We enjoyed fishing on several local lakes as well exploring the area. The home was clean, comfortable, and great getaway for two. "

"Had an amazing stay.Great location with a grocery store at walking distance, minutes to downtown and accessible amenities. The place was spotlessly with a very well equipped kitchen. A clearly labelled dedicated parking spot was easy and convenient. Check-in was smooth. Will definitely recommend and come back! "

"This property was perfect. Spacious and clean and quiet. The host company communicated with us as needed and were so helpful in answering any questions. We truly enjoyed our stay. It was perfect for our family of two adults and two kids traveling with grandma. Everyone has their own bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen had everything we needed. No complaints at all. Wish we could have stayed longer!"

"The room was very clean. Most things worked great and the room was well stocked. The light in the bathroom doesn’t work, so they just put up a few of those little stick on lights which was not enough after dark. The bed closest to the window has a big divot from over-use. There was a faint smell of cigarette smoke. "

"We stayed here for a long weekend with a large group. The bunk room in the basement fit a lot of people! The house was very comfortable and there was a ton of parking. The views were stunning, we just wish we would have had warmer weather to enjoy it"

"This is a unique residence that embodies the history of the Traverse City State Hospital albeit with the modern amenities you would expect. The pictures in the listing are an accurate portrayal of the historical look of the interior and the decor is very well done. Furniture was comfortable, but the bed was a bit small.
