"We stayed at The Lalit Laxmi Vilas Palace during our Udaipur visit and overall had a very pleasant experience. The biggest highlight is the location and architecture — a true royal palace with panoramic views of Fateh Sagar Lake and the Aravalli hills. The room was comfortable, and the staff was extremely polite and helpful. Food at the restaurant was good, especially breakfast with a wide selection. The property is maintained, though a few areas could benefit from renovation due to its age....

"Location is the best in heart of city close to all attractions . Best part is lake side restaurant which is open late and had great menu, thoroughly enjoyed late night drinks.loved shopping in their shop. Good collection."

"Many things in the room were broken: AC, hairdryer, water temperature. The pool also had issues so that we couldn’t use it. The staff the the reception was very nice but the rest of the staff didn’t understand English properly. The location was very central but the last few meters to the hotel had dark corners. The hotel staff can also bring you and pick you up for this part. "

"Property is located in residential area with no view or access to lake Pichola. Has some property in bad condition and some property being built. "

"View from the room was best i could ever get. Room was clean. Staff was friendly, gone beyond to fulfill the needs of the guests. Hotel is on a great great location. Just a minute away from lake pichola. You could see the lake, the ghat, the pichola market from your balcony. The size of the room was also pretty big. Overall 11/10. "
