VILLA TRENTINO

Villa Trentino is a beautiful home located just a 10 minute-walk from the central park of La Fortuna, very close to main restaurants, tour companies, souvenir stores, supermarkets, pharmacies, etc. All that the town has to offer.

Villa Trentino is located in the 'Valle del Volcan', one of the best neighborhoods in town, where locals and many foreigners have moved to this corner of paradise to enjoy the 'PURA VIDA' !

Villa Trentino was built in European design with a 1200 m2 garden, with a wide variety of ornamental plants and fruit trees; as well as hummingbirds, toucans, and a variety of different bird species.

At Villa Trentino we have a fully equipped and furnished cottage (cable television, internet, kitchen, laundry, etc). This is to provide our guests with the best appliances and commodities just as if you were in your own home. The house is built on two floors, on the ground floor: lounge, kitchen and laundry; on the top floor: two bedrooms, bathroom and a terrace from which you can appreciate the great views of majestic Arenal Volcano, located right in front of the property. The house has been designed so that any of your rooms have a spectacular view of the volcano, day or night you can watch the daily activity of the colossus.

Next to the house and the gardens, that are completely fenced off, we have undercover parking for your car. Also a covered BBQ area and hammocks ,totally available for you to enjoy in absolute privacy.

We offer all the tours available in the area of La Fortuna (volcano hikes, hot springs, rafting, zip-lines, canyoning, horseback riding etc.).All of this with special prices for our guests.

Incredible Stay in La Fortuna!

An amazing property located within walking distance of town. The pictures and description of the property only give a piece of the story. Stefano is an exceptional host. He provided plenty of suggestions for restaurants, places to visit, and things to do close by. The one 'issue' we had with our stay was the property being described with 'AC' in the title, but being required to leave AC units turned off when not in one of the the two bedrooms. We failed to see the sign on the back of the bedroom doors and left the AC on in each bedroom while out of the house for a couple of hours. During this time, Stefano entered and turned off the units. He did message us to let us know he entered the property and explained why. Perhaps allowing the AC to be left on and set at 25 could be a compromise? Regardless, we would certainly consider Villa Trentino for future trips to La Fortuna! Thank you Stefano!

Tropical Paradise Villa Trentino

We loved loved loved Villa Trentino!! Waking up to Toucans and Scarlet Macaws was an absolute treat. The location was very convenient and easily walkable to restaurants, grocery, and the main street of La Fortuna. Inside the guest house was clean and full of all the expected amenities. We definitely hope to have the chance to return in the future!

Beautiful home yard and pool

Unfortunately we only stayed out last day in Costa Rica and didn't get to enjoy the pool for long because of a thunderstorm. In hindsight I wish I'd of booked it for last 2 days. There were only 2 of us and the space could accommodate several more. Woke to the songs of birds and had to leave for an early flight so I really didn't get my money's worth but, that's entirely my fault because Jeffery was willing to give us early check in but because we got a little lost we didn't arrive until after 5:00..quick swim, stormy night and to bed early.

Wonderful Hosts

Beautiful home close to the center of La Fortuna. The property is gated with the guest house, hosts home, parking, lawn, and outdoor hangout spot (picnic table and hammocks). The home has hot water, laundry, and a good kitchen setup, plus a couple critters as you are in the rainforest. Stefano is a responsive host and was very helpful in giving activity suggestions and booking support. Would definitely stay here again!

Stayed 3 days ... visited Arenal volcanic park, hanging bridges, ziplines plus time in the quaint town of La Fortuna .... great location to access everything ... the VRBO grounds are great with views of the volcano, the living areas are comfortable, the beds are Ok, the shower is weak.

Costa Rica first time

My husband and teenage son and myself had the most enjoyable time. We were greeted with a warm Pure Vida welcome and given recommendations. We had a wonderful time and loved the property. We would recommend to anyone not wanting to stay at a big resort. Total local vibe and immersed in the culture. Gracious and Pure Vida!

Perfect home base in La Firtuna

My 16-year old son and I loved our time in Fortuna, and Villa Trentino was the perfect home base. The property is lovely - just as pictured with room to relax and enjoy the gardens. The kitchen had what we needed to prepare meals, although we were tempted to always eat out with so many great restaurants nearby. The washer and dryer were helpful as we could prepare for the next leg of our journey. The location is ideal, only minutes from downtown and top attractions. Stefano, our host, was especially accommodating in welcoming us, making key recommendations, and even helping us to book activities. We felt very safe and comfortable, and would recommend this property. Thank you for a fabulous stay!

Absolutely wonderful!

One of the nicest places we have stayed in either the best and most helpful hosts. Great location - on the edge of town with a view of the volcano but easy walk into town for dinner. Stefano had the best ideas for tours and can book for you with a discount. Do not hesitate to book here!

Fabulous Cozy Costa Rican Paradise!

Our little family of 3 loved staying here! The hosts were friendly and helpful showing us around the property right upon arrival. The area surrounding the property has so much to do - within 10 minutes you can see sloths, toucans, owls, lizards, iguanas and many different species of birds. The home was clean and well stocked with kitchen supplies, towels and plenty of space to relax and cook or eat a meal. We had an amazing stay!

Great spot in Fortuna

Lovely, tidy, private setting away from the busy town of Fortuna. Clean and quiet, with super helpful & responsive hosts that live on the property. 5-minute walk into town, or over to the market, or to Restaurante Harmony. Loads of birds to see every morning! Sweet little spot to visit.

Cozy Villa in La Fortuna

Villa Trentino was very cozy for our stay in La fortuna. Yorlenny was very kind and helpful throughout our stay with great recommendations. The villa is very walkable to restaurants and shops which we really enjoyed.

Lovely little spot.

Great spot not far from town. Very safe, excellent property, nice owners. Very clean. Only thing to note is the beds are full sized, which is mentioned but they are very snug for two!

Great Location, Great Hostess

We were delighted to stay at Villa Trentino, which is a 10-15 minute walk from downtown La Fortuna. Yorlenny was a great hostess, very responsive. The place was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The yard is gorgeous, and when the rain finally let us we saw four toucans in the tree next to the property.

Cutest well equipped house!

This is a stand alone house that is equipped with everything you need and more, like a washer and dryer. I could imagine living in this house! Secure location, with parking within the gated property. Walking distance to downtown La Fortuna and within short driving distance if all the sights you want to see! We had a fabulous stay. Note, the AC units are only in the bedrooms and the living space can get a bit hot, so open the downstairs windows early!

Stefano greeted us when we arrived and gave us a ton of good information on possible things to do- we actually did most of his suggestions and had a blast. He helped us book a last minute reservation for an activity, communication was super easy and he was so so helpful throughout the stay! House is in a perfect location, we walked into town every night, felt perfectly safe.

Wonderful Host

Part of what made our stay in La Fortuna so special was having Stefano as a host. He was a great wealth of information and helped us to make plans in our three day stay. From restaurants to sites to see to recommendations and insider information, Stefano was the best. While at the property, we felt safe and the venue was clean with many available amenities. We truly appreciated the wash machine as we were 10 days into our trip!

Amazing stay in La Fortuna

This was a perfect property for our family of 4. Conveniently located to town, safe and secure with a gate, beautiful landscaping, and having Stefano there to greet us and help us plan our activities was amazing. We absolutely loved it here.

Villa Trentino 3 night stay

First time using VRBO and everything went well. I kept in touch with owners so they would know our estimated arrival time. The house is exactly as described 2 beds and 1 bath up with kitchen living and laundry down. Only the shower has hot water which is unusual but was fine. There is a code for the lock and code for the alarm system which only needs to be set when you are out. The property has lovely flowers, a view of the volcano and a covered outdoor area with seating and hammocks. It was very hot and only the bedrooms are air conditioned. We cooked dinner the first night & walked into town for the next 2 nights. Highly recommend the Snapper House restaurant and enjoyed pizza at the Italian restaurant across the street. Only one day was a bit rainy so did the chocolate tour, sloth watching tour and Arenal Nature Eco Park Would definitely recommend Villa Trentino but wish the main floor had ceiling fans
