"We absolutely loved our stay at Kontiki Beach Resort. The rooms are beautiful and our view was fantastic. We especially loved the little private plunge pool on the deck — it made the stay feel extra special. The beach area is very lively with great restaurants, beach clubs, and plenty of shopping nearby, so there is always something to do. "This is a great property in an amazing location! Many restaurants and shops all within walking distance. The staff were very friendly. Our housekeeper, Angelique, was the best! She made us a different towel animal each day with a fun sweet note! We loved having a Starbucks inside the hotel! It's on level 2 which is conveniently on the way out to the beach. The lobby has ice water with fresh fruit in it daily. The entire hotel was very clean and they always had clean towels ready at the beach. "

"We had a garden apt. With outdoor kitchen and living space. This was excellent and very comfortable and useful. We cooked many meals, as we tend to do on vacation. Our 2nd bathroom did have a bad smell from the drain, which was unpleasant. We remedied that by keeping the window in the bathroom open and a towel at the botttom of the door, using the other bathroom 100% of the time. The bedroom was fine after that. The grounds and snorkeling were excellent."
