"Property is self catering house at edge of the town. Spacious and decent kitchen. Road quiet (liked that) and easy access to nature reserve/countryside walks. Parking a bit of an issue but didn’t detract from our stay. "

"What a great evening, staff, the ambience, and the site's adorable stay. Everything was neat, clean, and well-maintained. In addition to everything, the woman on call was incredibly kind and helpful. Definitely need a second visit."

"Friendly host, exceptionally clean.Bed very comfortable and most welcome after a long day visiting family and walking the Eastern Moors and beyond.The enclosed garden was ideal for our dog.We intend to return in the near future."

"We have just returned from a couple of nights at Brewers Cottage and thoroughly enjoyed it. The cottage is spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and bigger than it seems from the photos. Foolow is convenient access to some lovely areas and walks in the Peak District, and just a 10-15 minute walk from the cottage is the local pub that does fabulous food and has very friendly staff. Do take a torch for the walk there and back on darker nights though!! All in all, a fantastic stay and we would...

"Another excellent trip on the houseboat. Love this hotel - great location, fabulous accommodation. Why stay in a regular hotel when you can stay here!"
