Location was great. We had tv reception issues. The tv downstairs had Roku box & technician sent out did great job & fixed. But the 2 tvs in upstairs bedrooms still had issues

The location was nice as it was close to downtown Duck. You are right on the sound and can see beautiful sunsets. The pool is also located right along the sound which creates a lovely atmosphere for swimming and relaxing. The unit itself is very dated but clean. The internet was spotty so we had to reset it on several occasions. The tv in the master bedroom is unwatchable as the screen jumps around. The rental company was very responsive and quick to fix any issues. The beds were very comfortable.

Disappointing

The location was very nice. But, this condo is old and has not been well maintained. Repairs and deep cleaning is required.

Soundfront condo

The location of this condo is lovely. Close enough to downtown Duck, but removed enough from the hustle and bustle. It is right on the water on the sound side and about a 10-15 min walk to the beach, depending on how fast your kids walk. The walk is pretty steep up hill, be advised. It is dated (but you can see that from the pictures) but perfectly serviceable for our family of 5. My only critiques would be to update some kitchen items (you have to hold down the toaster lever to make it work, no Keurig, no microwaveable dinner plates, LOTS of spoons but few forks, no empty cabinet to store food) and the carpet (it has that stale carpet-y smell like maybe there have been pets here before). My favorite part of every day of our vacation was sitting on the deck with my morning coffee looking out over the water or enjoying a glass of wine at sunset (BEAUTIFUL).
