"Great location"

"The Rosemount Inn is located in a beautiful area of Kingston with many restaurants close by. The waterfront is also within a short walk. It is not far from the main highway and is easy to find. The included breakfast was very good. "

"We really enjoyed this property but the check in process was very clunky and opaque, difficult to figure out how to contact the host. The integration between them and expedia is not good, messages were repeated, missed and late in arriving. We talked to another guest at the property who had the same experience so... it's a thing... but once inside with codes and keys, we really enjoyed it and have no complaints. "

"Staff were fabulous at all times. Very helpful. Approachable and friendly and efficient. One quick suggestion is to consider putting more coffee in the rooms. There was only one packet, which does not seem like enough (and certainly wasn't for me). Staff brought some up which was great, but having more in there to start with makes sense. And possibly some cream or coffee whitener, rather than just sugar. And a shower cap for the bathroom. Again, staff were helpful and provided these things, but...

"Staff were friendly and accommodating. Very responsive on the Expedia app for messages. Room was so cool and classic! Neighborhood felt very safe, lovely walk to Queens. They let us leave bags after check out then return and have a cup of tea while we were waiting for our uber. Very classy! My only minor issue was coffee - there’s no hot coffee til 7am; pods were available before then but only French vanilla or decaf when I went at 6am. FYI if you need caffeine like me!"

"Check-in was terrible, Need more staff to reduce lineups at check-in time and spread out check in time. Two staff insufficient to speed up check-in, starts off a visit with a bad taste having to line up for over half an hour."

"Staff were superb. Helpful, knowledgeable about the place and the city surrounds and sites. Recommend this place to anybody. Nearby bar for drinks and eats 10-15 mins walk. Parking fees but they won't kill you! Top class 10/10"

"Seems to be a pattern When I arrived , the clerk they didn't have my reservation despite the fact she was given all the information. It took some time to get her to find the reservation I have had similar experience lately in Fredricton & Montreal Seems that the staff have a racial view of Canadians. and try to take advantage of our mellow way of dealing & believing mis-information."

"The walls are paper thin. Our room was right beside the breakfast area (110) and from 6:am on all you could hear was people talking and chairs screeching on the floor. The night before all we could hear was a track team above us walking, horsing around, yelling and running in the halls until midnight. We complained twice but it didn’t stop. Will not return."
