"For Check in after 4pm you just grab your envelope out of a mailbox. No room key just a code. Property right on the water beautiful views. Not modern but clean. Short walk to kings beach along the lake edge. Kitchen had everything you needed and Safeway across the street. "

"We spent 5 nights over the Thanksgiving Holiday and overall enjoyed the stay. The location is what sold us. The views from the back deck are spectacular. The unit itself was comfortable but has some deferred maintenance that absolutely needs to be addressed. Part of the draw to this location was that it advertised a gas fireplace. It did not work the entire time we were there. They did send out a maintenance tech but he indicated that they have been having issues with the fireplace for...

"The floors were dirty as evidenced by my filthy slippers. There was a red wine stain on the floor near the fireplace, which I wiped up. The vacuum does NOT work. The battery needs to be replaced (charging it does not work). We shouldn’t have to launder our sheets and towels. I have never had to do this in other VRBO homes.This was particularly difficult after having Thanksgiving dinner and then leaving on a 6 a.m. flight the next day. "Stayed June 2025 for 1 week. Home is centrally located in Kings Beach. Everything accessible by foot. Very quiet day and night. Home was well stocked. Enjoyed sitting on the deck every night BBQing. Would definitely stay again. Our host was amazing and very responsive to my several questions before and during our trip. "

"Although this place is on the main road and is lacking in curb appeal, it was very clean, large, cozy, and close to everything we needed. The back yard is huge and there were plenty of beds for our group of teens. We loved that the rooms were connected for the kids, and we had our own room and bathroom as parents.
