Great property. Awesome views. Well situated to enjoy all the Outer Banks has to offer. The hosts did a great job thinking out things that would make your stay enjoyable and easy!

The unit was well maintained, updated, very clean and had a lot of little extras that the host provided that made it feel very homey and comfortable. Communication with the host was easy as was the check in. Would consider renting this unit again.

Chris and Karen are fantastic hosts! Their place is so cute, clean, and convenient. You can’t beat the water view, either. Will definitely be back!

My husband and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary here. We had our honeymoon 6/24/06, at a different place. But this place was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING The First Flight Retreat. We arrived here 6/21/2026…. We were absolutely taken aback as to all of the amenities. The condo had EVERYTHING!!!! Very clean, neat, we were just stunned!!! Again, BREATHTAKING, neat, soooo very perfect Thank you Chris and Karen

We loved our stay. It was only a couple days but we were very happy with the condo and the location. Was so nice to sit on the deck & listen to and watch the waves. We took a walk on beach each day. Plenty of parking. Location was great as it was close to lots of restaurants and sites. We visited the Wright Brothers Memorial. It was very interesting. We would highly recommend this condo. The hosts were very accommodating. Lots of little extras that made stay very nice. We would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I rented this for a long weekend and it definitely exceeded our expectations! It was spotless and had everything we could possibly need. Much better than a hotel and some other places that we have rented. The hosts were very communicative and responded quickly. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching the ocean. There was a lot to do in the area (wild horses, sand dunes, Wright Brothers, aquarium…). There were also many dining options. This was honestly a perfect getaway and would definitely recommend it.

This gem of a place was perfect. Unobstructed ocean views with a great deck. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. We enjoyed the complimentary coffee left by our host. Chris and Karen were available for any questions and were very accommodating.

Condo was clean and stocked with unexpected amenities that made a long weekend getaway super convenient. The hosts were extremely helpful and available for anything we needed!

We couldn't think of one improvement for this condo. The place was immaculate when we arrived. Very inviting, comfy, and well stocked. We had everything needed to make a few meals while there. They even had birthday candles, so I was able to blow out a candle for my birthday while I was there. We thoroughly enjoyed the long weekend at this diamond in the rough. We will be back!

Chris was amazing and attentive. Condo was absolutely beautiful. No need to look any further. This is the place you are going to want to stay and you will fall in love with. Me and my husband had the best time in Kill Devil Hills for a Valentines weekend getaway. They really did think of everything to make this condo perfect! We can’t wait to come back in the future!
