"We had a most splendid time at Djorff Palace. From the minute we arrived with the hotel’s river boat, we felt transported back in time. To a time where the dull uniformity of big corporate hotels did not exist. The architecture of the hotel is most elegant and the rooms are authentic and warm with their squeaky wooden floor, domed ceilings and the intricate wooden carvings on the balcony door and the windows. "Great little hotel on the West Bank. Clean, safe, comfortable. Nice pool. Easy walk to the riverfront, near good local restaurants. Owners helped arrange tours, and laundry. Very nice."

"Staff and security were very welcoming.Check in was quick and very informative about activities and all the amenities they offer.Room was very comfortable with a mini fridge which allowed us to stay in and eat in after being outside in the Luxor heat.Swimming pool was so relaxing with nice view of Nile river and mountains in distance.Continental breakfast with fresh pastries,omelettes,and fruit was the perfect start to the day.Would definitely recommend and would stay again.Also very close to...
