"We loved our stay here at Chateau Tavoli. Beautiful Historic home. Great location. Wonderful staff! I wished there was parking at the site. Best to not bring a vehicle. "

"Bathrooms had very limited number (1) towel bars to hang towels and washcloths after use. Tub faucet dripped constantly despite continuous efforts to shut it off. The reading lights above the beds were broken or didn't work. Beds were firm and comfortable however. Very limited dining at the hotel. However the surrounding area had amble dining within a block or two."

"Loved this place! Perfect location, size and layout plus so many modern additions like Google TVs and hub. So much attention to detail overall. Will definitely stay here again when Im lucky enough to get back to SF! There's only one very small critique and that's the shower water pressure could be a little stronger but it was sufficient as is. "

"Great location. Gill is very responsive manager. Appreciate 3 floor request being honored and facing city view not Presidoo street. Room 306 and 307 little close to elevator but didn’t really hear much. Didn’t like laundry cart in front of room all day. I’m not a fan of the bathroom amenities smell but know some people enjoy. "

"Clean and comfortable rooms. Common kitchen, bathrooms and showers were all clean and well stocked. Easy access to transit and walking to Castro/mission. Only downside was the intensity or drug use and human struggle taking place outside and on surrounding blocks. "

"Great area to stay, felt safe. Walking distance to Golden Gate Park and some good spots to eat close by. Parking can be a bit tricky, we were closer to the park than our car. Super homey feel, nice, clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was nice, they deliver it right outside your door in the morning. Loved the self check in/out so i didn’t have to interact with anyone. "This is a great property, especially for those simply wanting a clean space for a comfortable night's rest with basic amenities at a reasonable price. My only quip is the hotel windows open but do not have screens. In a hotel without air conditioning, it's reasonable for guests to wish to open a window for some fresh air. However, without screens, it's not a pleasant option given the mosquitoes, if staying during the warmer months."
