Situado en la parte más antigua y tranquila de Keswick, a un corto paseo del centro de la ciudad, Derwentwater lo convierte en una base ideal para explorar todo lo que Keswick y los lagos del norte tienen para ofrecer. Really clean cottage in a perfect location.

Really clean cottage in a perfect location. Massive advantage having parking..Well equipped kitchen.Comfy living room and cosy cottage.We didn't find the bed comfy. This could just be us but we found we didn't sleep well because of this.The steps down to the cottage are very dark at night. A light would be an advantage.Overall really enjoyed our stay and would likely stay again

We booked Bunbury cottage as accommodation during a week of the Keswick Convention - one of the few cottages available when we booked and at the usual very inflated price that most owners charge at Convention time. The location was brilliant, being so close to local amenities and the Lake. The cottage was comfortable in general but we found; the bed rather too firm (personal preference we know); the wardrobe doors in the bedroom were so hard to open (magnetic closures) that a poorly secured handle came off; no veg. peeler, cling film, aluminium foil or spare loo rolls provided and the freezer needed defrosting. We would have preferred a dishwasher over a clothes washer. The main failing with the property is that, although it is essentially a ground floor flat (as correctly described in the description), we heard every footfall from above. Something really needs to be done about soundproofing between floors. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Fantastic hiking base.

Fantastic hiking base. internet and car park inclusion was essential. living room is cozy and a good place to relax. It is very quiet and has afternoon sun. Benod is decent and bedroom can be kept cold and aired easily, but sheets were washed with too much laundry detergent and gave of perfume scent for the entire week. A dish drying rack would have been a plus, since you have to do your own dishes. The biggest pot for cooking was still too small. but other than that, the kitchen has everything that would be considered standard. We cooked 7 days in a row. Cosy cottage

Lovely little place to stay for two. Has everything you need and in a quiet location yet minute's from the centre of Keswick and the beautiful Derwent water.
