Bedroom 3: Single (3ft) Bed. Gas central heating, fuel, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Cot available. No smoking.. Enclosed rear garden with picnic bench. Small front garden with bench. Lockable shed for bikes. Parking permit for nearby car park (£10 deposit). Visit England 4 Star.. This traditional Lakeland cottage enjoys an excellent elevated position in Keswick town centre, on a quiet lane with very little traffic. It is by the footbridge over the River Greta and into Fitz Park, perfect if you have a dog. Everything you need is minutes away; in just 200 yards you can reach shops, restaurants and pubs. The cinema is in the town centre and the lovely Theatre by the Lake is just a short walk away. Valentine Cottage has gorgeous fell views to fall in love with, and is furnished and equipped to a high standard, with double glazing and central heating and constant hot water. The park has a children’s play area bowling, putting, tennis court and cricket pitch and plenty of open space. Keswick leisure centre with its gym is adjacent to the park. Beautiful peaceful Derwentwater with its launch and lakeside walks is in easy walking distance.

Loved the little bits and pieces provided just in case you needed them eg, string, selotape, poo bags, dog bowls, airer etc etc - a lot of rental cottages don't leave a single thing and although i didn't need any of them it was appreciated.would definitely recommend and use again.

Lovely house in a great location.

Lovely house in a great location. Our only criticism is that it could do with a rail at the few steps to the front door (we had our elderly mother with us). Very well equipped, comfortable beds and loads of dishes!

Fantastic location, very warm and cosy house for our little family ( 2 adults 3 children) for a weeks break. Adventures all around as well as a great play play park and swimming pool just across the river. Well equipped house has everything we needed. Will definitely be back to explore more of the beautiful town of Keswick and the Lake District.

Excellent cottage for our stay in Keswick.

Excellent cottage for our stay in Keswick. First time bringing the dog on holiday and the cottage, 20 yards from the park, was in a perfect location for dog walks, but also so near the town for shops and cafes etc. Cottage really clean, comfortable and homely and felt very relaxed during our week. would heartily recommend to anyone.
