"I stayed here for one night as a solo traveller. On arrival they asked for ID, which I found a bit unusual, and then sent a link asking for credit card details to cover any potential damages. I understand why hotels do this, but it did feel a bit impersonal. The location is good and there’s plenty of parking, which is a big plus. "We absolutely loved our stay here and honestly wished we had booked for longer. From the minute we arrived, we felt so well taken care of. Mel was fantastic and made such a strong impression with how warm, helpful, and attentive she was. We were travelling with our dog, and this place really goes above and beyond. The grounds were beautiful and perfect to enjoy with a pooch, and we were so impressed by the thoughtful touches like the dog menu, the welcome package for our dog, and a lovely treat...

"The hotel was having a renovation but the staff couldn't do enough for us. Very friendly and helpful. Had to stay 1 extra night but that wasn't a bother at all. Very large ground floor Room with garden view, but looking like building site outside cos of reno.3 single beds, could do with a king-size bed and a small table n chairs. Massive portions of food, evening time,but abit lukewarm. Didn't try brekkie. Would go again. "
