If you want to feel like you are home for the weekend, this is THE place! Hot showers, cold A/C, amazing neighbors, great fishing and everything you could possibly need. We loved our visit and home to come back soon.

We had a wonderful stay. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. The home was warm, cozy, and very comfortable, making us feel right at home. It was clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed. The location was great, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

This is our second time staying here. It accomodates 3 couples perfectly. The property is clean with plenty of parking for 3 large trucks and a boat trailer. Johnathon is prompt with communication. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you would need for cooking/entertaining. The patio/deck is lovely for visiting/dining/fishing under the big shaded tree. The neighbor Colleen is so friendly and gives great recommendations. We plan to stay again next year. Thanks for a wonderful stay Johnathon.

Greay stay

The overall stay was great. The location is second to none and it helped that the location was right next to two of our family friends places as well. Would definitely recommend to others.

Great location for fishing

We vacation yearly in Clear lake. This has been our favorite VRBO. The house was perfect for 6 adults. It is clean, the kitchen has all the essentials, and location is perfect. Their neighbor Colleen is so friendly and even gave us fishing hot spots.

Lake visit

Stayed all week to fish. Great house with convenient layout. Everything was great. The only negative was the road getting there, but that’s not on the house or host.

We want to go back for a longer stay!

This house was perfect for our largish family group of 6 adults and two kids under 7. There was plenty of room for everyone and then some. The outdoor space was large and beautiful to sit and relax in. The house was very well stocked with necessities and felt like we were visiting grandma. We will be back for longer next time!

Lazy Lake Days of Summer

We went over the bridges and through the woods to Grandmothers house! Very peaceful and pleasant homey space. Everything was ready to go, kitchen is well equipped, porch swing is waiting and the view is unbeatable. We lucked out with our own Lady of the Lake, a neighbor who turned us on to the cool history and geology of the area and gave us a tour on her speedboat!

Very homey

The Lazy lake house met all our expectations. Yes the road in was a bit tight but I was able to get my boat and trailer down to the house issue free. Our host, Jonathan was very responsive to a couple of minimal issues we had. I have stayed at many places and I have to say Jonathan was the best at responding.

A Different View of Clear Lake

It was POURING rain the whole time, which gave us a different way of seeing things! Totally romantic and cozy, and talk about zero people on the lake. All the amenities were there and we cooked dinner every night. It'd be nice to go back when it's sunnier for a different outlook.

Lovely house well appointed with charming decor. Kitchen is roomy and has every gadget you could want. Living room is comfy with a large smart tv. But the huge selling point for us was the outstanding back yard which is literally right on the water with a private dock perfect for fishing. There is a beautiful big shade tree for the summer months, as well as a shaded picnic table so you can eat outside in comfort. We are birders and this place was outstanding for birding. We saw: Black Crowned Night Heron, Green Heron, Great Blue Heron, Egrets, Kingfishers, and Osprey, to name a few.The host is extremely responsive to any questions and went out of his way to make sure we had a great stay. The neighbors were also very friendly and helpful. We had a great time and will certainly return.

Relaxing Family Time

We had a lovely time staying here. The house layout was very comfortable and perfect for our family; giving ample space and options for seating, sleeping and relaxing; indoors and outdoors. The men enjoyed fishing right off the dock in the evening and being able to pull the boat up to it for middday lunch. There was plenty of parking space for our truck with boat/trailer, plus two cars.The only tricky part was how narrow the road was, making it a little more difficult to turn the boat around and get parked. Luckily my husband is very capable it that area. And the steep road ensured that the men did the driving for us LOL. If youre looking to relax, in a quiet and peaceful area on the water, this is the place for you!

We had a great time with my family of 8 and a dog! The house was so homey and comfortable with plenty of space for all plus some. Everything you could possibly need was there including everything for cooking and sleeping etc. the outdoors had a beautiful lawn area with a large tree that gives ample shade. The dock was great and perfect for my bfs fishing boat and fishing from. The neighbors were all super friendly and Colleen and Jim were soooo much fun! They made our stay even more amazing than we could have imagined. This area is very safe and secure and close in proximity to everything you need. We enjoyed a few wineries that were beautiful and fun and we also spent a day golfing. We never even needed to contact our host because everything we needed was there and worked great and the air-conditioning was wonderful for the high temperatures that week. We spent a lot of time outdoors on the deck and barbecuing and making lots of mixed drinks and memories!
