I booked two rooms, one room had no towels, all the sinks had bad oder. Rooms had no heating, it was cold.

Very nice and clean apartment. Thanks to prior reviews that had us look for the "tunnel" near the Asian (noodle) restaurant that allowed us to look for the semi-tunnel to get to the apartment. We arrived 1.5 hours prior to check-in with luggage in-tow and we were able to QR a chat with the folks that managed the apt. and were able to get our code to work to check in early and drop our luggage. Can't say that this will hold exactly for every other traveler; but they were nice and accommodating to let us in a bit early since the apartment was ready. Great location to walk to restaurants, grocery store and the like. Also very close to bus stop #6 which is where many routes pickup for excursions.....we were 4 mins away at most. Plenty of supplies to get in the closet one flight down in case you needed something. Have to say that having a kitchen where you stay really allows you to open some options for cooking. If you haven't heard, Iceland is "hella" expensive for food. We were able to shop at a major grocer about 1/2 mile away (walk) and make some great meals at our place. 2 burner stove, but we were able to make it work ok alternating items cooking. Summary - clean, centrally located, can make a few meals at your house if you go shopping at the store and don't have to eat out every night. Great place to stay as your "home base". A bit of construction in front of the apartments with a bit more noise in the am hours. Just be aware of that, but overall great!!
