"Very strong mildew smell in the room. Comfortable bed, but awkward room layout. Very convenient location, but mildew smell was very bothersome."

Lokahi Lodge
"Perfectly adequate for a night’s stay, but wouldn’t want to hang out there. Clean sheets and comfortable bed. Property and decor was dated. Very high sink in bathroom, not good for short people. Waste basket in bathroom looked dirty or stained on outside… did not want to investigate."

Chalet Kilauea
"It’s like staying in a cool treehouse. My room was very spacious and quiet. The hotel has no staff on site but easy enough to contact if you need anything (I didn’t need to contact them for anything though). Definitely a cool place to stay."

"Ocean views. Comfortable beds. Small refrigerator, no microwave or any way to cook anything. Quiet and relaxing."
