Kona Bay Oceanfront Home close to Town & Shopping

Watch the Dolphins frolic and the whales in season from your own private lanai where the soft ocean breezes and the gentle waves lapping against the shoreline will relax your mind and body. Newly enclosed private patio with tropical garden is a great place to relax and dine.
Kona Bay Hale consists of a 2BR / 2 BA home with additional bunkbeds located in a separate alcove. Both king & queen bedrooms have A/C units. A queen sofabed in the living room allows sleeping for up to 8 people. An open and airy gourmet kitchen with dining room table that seats 8 has unencumbered ocean views looking out across the living room to open lanai.
New TV’s in every room including a large HD TV in the living room.
Master suite has a king bed with Jacuzzi tub and walk in shower. Second bedroom has a queen bed with adjoining bathroom. The lanai has 2 L-shaped couches with coffee tables allowing plenty of room to relax.
A front lawn between the house and ocean is a great place for sun bathing.
Recently upgraded with new furnishings, bedding, linens, towels, and kitchenware,
Kona Bay Hale has everything you need for the perfect vacation.

Very comfortable and beautiful

We really enjoyed our stay here. Kids named the chicken that hangs around Hey-Hey. Tons of birds in the courtyard in morning hours. It’s well stocked and there was nothing we needed that wasn’t provided. Very comfortable and relaxing stay.

Beautiful house in Kona

This house was beautifully furnished and we lacked nothing. We especially loved sitting in the lanai watching the waves roll in and listening to the waves all night. The furniture in the lanai, however, looked old and soiled, and wasn't very comfortable. This was a good location.

Incredible stay!

This might have been the most comfortable rental we’ve stayed in as a family - the owners thought of everything and if anything the pictures don’t do it justice. Waking up to that view each morning was all the vacation I needed but we had a spectacular time on the Big Island. Exceptional property!

Best location

This house was located right on the water just South of Kailua-Kona. It is a great base location for exploring the island IF you can peel yourself out of the chairs on the lanai overlooking the water. The house is well stocked with items to use in the kitchen, as well as things to use at the beach like towels, chairs, umbrellas, and snorkels. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely return.

House layout is great. We enjoyed the location and the lanai over looking the ocean. House was well equipped with beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers to take to the beach.

Property was wonderful!

We loved staying here! It was so clean and comfortable! Beautiful views, close to everything. I loved that I could hear the waves all night! Put me right to sleep! Wonderful property! Binder with instructions/passwords etc seemed to be miss placed somewhere... Never could find it. Check in said there was one. Only telling you so the next people will have it! Thanks!

Beautiful home with a wonderful ocean view!

This is the perfect place to relax and unwind! This property is close to shopping, restaurants, and a grocery store if you would rather cook instead of going out to dinner. We witnessed beautiful sunsets and saw whales daily from the outdoor sitting area. We really enjoyed our stay here and look forward to visiting again.

We loved staying at this property. Although we did not walk to town, it was certainly doable. The best part was enjoying the ocean right from the back deck! The home was also very well equipped.

Wish we had never left.

It’s rare when a rental lives up to expectations but this one was stellar and we wish we had had never left. Four adults comfortably stayed here for a little less than a week and I could see how a couple of kids could easily stay in the bunk beds. The rental was very stocked with dishes, towels, linens and it was so nice to have a washer and dryer! We spent most evenings watching the sunset and mornings watching the fish and surfers out front. We can’t wait to return!

Wow what a fabulous stay!

I can't begin to say how much we enjoyed our week here. From the moment we walked into the courtyard with the beautiful flowers in the trees and the birds chirping to the amazing ocean front view. This place is huge. The kitchen is a gourmet kitchen full of anything that you would need to cook anything. The living room was very comfortable and overlooked the ocean. You could see the ocean while cooking. High ceilings in all of the rooms. I could see a palm tree in the skylight. The master bedroom has a big sliding door that overlooks the beautiful courtyard. High ceilings fabulous shower. we were worried we might get hot due to no air-conditioning in the living room and kitchen but as long as you had the ceiling fans going in the windows open with the ocean breeze it was just fine. We walked to town a few times and also took the trolley a couple times. There's a trolley schedule but it's not that accurate so sometimes we would wait for the trolley or just keep walking. they were lots of restaurants and bars and shopping anything you could ever need right in town. And there was a really good farmers market that sold fresh vegetables and fruits and all kinds of Hawaiian gifts. You can pick up beautiful fresh ginger and they allow you to fly it home since it is a root and as long as there's no soil. So we took some home and it's really fresh and good. This is a great location even if you want to tour the island we basically did a three or four different day trips and came right back to our fabulous ocean retreat. This was a great vacation. I would definitely stay here again so it was beautiful in a place I would never be able to buy but it sure wonderful to stay in. There's also an outdoor shower that you can use in it looks like you're surrounded by lava. There is laundry in the garage but we never used it. Thank you to the owners who share this home. It is a dream.

Perfect and private!

Absolutely stunning property! Large living space and incredible porch for evening the ocean. Kitchen is well equipped and loads of chairs, umbrellas etc for the beach. Walking distance to town. I cannot wait to stay here again!

Lovely rental home

Stunning view and nightly sunsets right from the balcony of this fabulous home. Well equipped for anything you could need, with the dual advantage of being private and tucked away yet accessible to town and beaches. Our family of 5 was very comfortable. Lovely garden patio, spacious master suite and separate room for kids , great deck. Note: not centrally air conditioned- two unit AC for master and bunk areas, certainly the numerous windows offer cross breeze in the main room and second bedroom, cools things down at night. Every beach need you could ask for is available. We loved it!
