"The hotel needs an upgrade very badly. The staff and food was excellent. It”s such a beautiful location and an extremely perfect asset for a big improvement in infrastructure. Please make sure the hotel is upgraded/refurbished."

"The facilities seem old, but overall I was highly satisfied. Above all, this is the only place where we can see Seagiria Rock from the pool, so it is hard to change anything. If I had to pick one complaint, I wish they had prepared slippers in the room."

"Ekho was a great place to stay, a fabulous location in easy reach of the Lion Rock fortress. The rooms are comfy, the food good and in easy reach of other bars and restaurants. "

"Great hotel in a beautiful location. We only stayed one night, but could have stayed longer. The pools looked fantastic and well cleaned. We had an excellent meal, and then played pool on the table next to the bar! The hotel is trying hard to be eco, and we had a very interesting bathroom surrounded by plants in the shower, and an open air roof - covered by mesh to stop anything nasty getting in! We watched a fantastic sunset whilst drinking cocktails. Very memorable. Staff were lovely."

"Not usually a review scribe but sometimes you just feel compelled to. 5 stars does not do justice to Dinesh and family. Immaculately clean, helpful to a fault, nothing is too difficult to organize on your behalf and OMG the breakfast is more fit for a king than us minions. Look no further if you want a hassle free stay with some (no exaggeration) of the nicest people on this world of ours. "

"Hotel très beau, le service agréable, super piscine , nourriture bonne et plutot variée. Petit bémol notre salle de bain était sale les 2 jours avec une mauvaise odeur ."

"This guest house is overrated and overpriced for the quality. Its service was mediocre. The room cleanliness was bearable one but far below the level of the tourist hotel. Sigiriya Rock is not far though tuktuk from there required 3 times the normal price of taxi app."

"From the outside the dining area looks clean but my room was dirty with spiderwebs. I had mentioned the water tank was empty but nothing was done to replace the jug. The room wasn’t cleaned when i mentioned to owner he said only upon request. I had requested 1hr late checkout due to my ride will arrive at 11am but he said no I had to checkout at 10am because a group was coming in , he then cut off power and wifi at 8a I couldn’t take a shower and the heat was unbearable trying to pack with no AC...

"Hotell Nadun Rest har upphört att existera så det var i det närmaste omöjligt att hitta dit. Nya hotellägarna hade informerat Hotels.com om detta men gamla namnet låg fortfarande ute och då med info att det fanns frukost och restaurang. Dåligt av Hotels.com!! Nya ägarna var ändå väldigt hjälpsamma och ordnade frukost och tog oss till en restaurang på eget initiativ. Hotellet heter numera Monkey Garden och har väldigt enkla övernattningsrum."

"Very disappointed, the hotel looked lovely in the photos but reality was a different story. With the exception of one waiter none of the staff seemed to know what they were doing. The pool was filthy and the water was green. The room was shabby and in desperate need of a refurb, broken bathroom fixtures, hole in sheet, dirty curtains, broken tie-backs. Bar area was okay but at breakfast our table was covered in flies. Avoid this place at all costs "
