"I traveled to Statesville for work to go to a weeklong class. I wanted to do something different instead of a hotel. This apartment was HUGE, very spacious, clean, smelled amazing, and very well decorated. Very well designed from a magazine. It's above a bookstore in an old building so there is exposed brick, ducts, and ceiling beams. The flooring is real wood through out. "OFF THE GRID. 1 mile driveway leads to your own personal mountain cottage right next to a beautiful creek with three waterfalls house is well appointed even some extra kitchen items that were super helpful during our stay. Driving back out to the grocery store is a solid 45 minutes thank you so much for the coffee filters, salt and pepper, extra seasonings, no dishwasher, except for yours truly, but all other kitchen appliances provided were amazing. Bidets in both bathrooms should be mentioned...

"We loved our stay at this property in Mt Airy. The owner makes sure the house is prepared for basically anything you could need. It was so cozy and comfortable. Loved that it was pet friendly and had the small fenced in area for our fur baby to run around. Will definitely be trying to stay there in the future should we find ourselves in Mt Airy again. "

"Very charming, clean and comfortable. The bathroom can be a challenge for elderly people, particularly the shower. However, the owner is aware. Overall great place. This was our second stay so it is definitely somewhere we would stay again."

"Loved the location! It was a perfect halfway point for our destination. Enjoyed the front porch where we were able to sit, let the dog run and chase the ball and enjoy the view! Everything was clean and looked so nice! Bed was so so comfortable! Loved it! "

"The cabin was so cute and cozy. It was extremely clean and well-stocked. Excellent communication with the property manager. It's my fault that I didn't ask about square footage. I don't remember seeing it listed on the description. The property is exactly as described; however, it was much smaller than I imagined. It's more the size of an adorable tiny house. "This property is close to Stone Mountain and relatively close to Elkin if needed.Their is agas operated shower in a bath house which was wonderful. The codes worked well to get in I love the tap light next to bed.The parking area was ample as I have a full sized pickup. Heard turkeys and saw other wildlife .Love the chair in the front and read and drank coffee. There is a water machine that gives you hot water or cold cold water out of the same machine. Well organized and well thought out!"

"Very cool cabin in remote setting. Booked a 1 night stay. Great place, located on the edge of working farm. Host provided good directions/instructions on how to find it, as it's remote and tucked away. Extremely peaceful and quite. Great couples getaway and easy to get to different attractions in the area. Nice amenities in the cabin and well taken care of. "
