"TV didn’t work in room and odor in room was terrible."

"This is an old property, and the rooms reflect the age. Not bad, dirty, or in disrepair, but well used and not updated. The breakfast had decent variety, but the "hot" items were not very good at all, maybe because they were kept in steamer trays with no heat source. But the waffle maker worked great, and the coffee machine serves hot fresh brew 24/7. Front desk staff was mostly absent during key hours (like morning check out). Seems like they live on the property, and spend more time there...

"I read a lot of reviews both good and not so good prior to booking and here’s what I can say. We loved the place. While it’s an extremely large, sprawling place it was also quiet and very enjoyable. There was a wedding taking place by the marina. The Abbey is kid friendly but also romantic for couples. In some of the reviews people discussed the upkeep. Sure they could do some updating and repairs but with the size of the resort, we felt that it was in very nice condition overall. Lots of...
