"A challenging property to review. It's not up to standard compared to similar style cottages we have stayed at with similar feature lists. That's despite being in a good location. Despite the positives they are insufficient for us to consider staying there again. A picture is worth a thousand so study carefully those shared. Some will find the cottages average, some will be pleasantly surprised, and some may wish to check out on arrival. The cottages are best described as quirky. The corner spa...

"I enjoy staying at the Anchorage because it is very good value for money, close to the footbridge and shops. Paul the manager is a very friendly person to deal with. "The setting was lovely although the outside tables and chairs were covered wlth bird poo so we couldn’t use them until the next day when a lovely staff came and cleaned up . We booked wlth another couple from overseas and I booked for 2 rooms . The ad is misleading - I didn’t realise I had booked for 2 villas . Basically “ 1 room is 1 villa “ so we all stayed in 1 villa and didn’t use the 2nd property. I asked Expedia if the host would refund for 1 villa as we never entered the 2nd villa -...
