There was no instructions for the air con controls but by the power of Google lens I was able to work out that I could download an app to control it. "The room was in the basement of the property and had a shared bathroom. I was not expecting either. From the pictures on the listing I thought I was going to get a room with a bathroom on a regular floor. My reservation was non refundable so I could not cancel it after I paid for it. The house is very clean and the owner was responsive when I expressed my surprise. However, I stayed 9 nights and the situation was not to my liking in that room. The room was very very small."

"My wife and I had a wonderful experience here. We got to have the room 7 which is at the top. We had a nice view to the street and also a small window for the sky. Breakfast was fantastic. Made by a cook at 8 am and we also had bananas, apples, juices, including a nice coffee machine. They also gave us the opportunity to leave our bags and go to explore the city in our last day. "Room was good. Included mini bar and snacks (2 bottles of lager and 2 gabs of soft drinks and crisps). Breakfast was good/disappointing for our taste. Continental pastries were excellent, egg/avocado was also good. English breakfast not great with a fennel sausage detracting from the plate. Egg Benedict wasn’t good either with thinly sliced very fatty pancetta rather than ham."

"Excellent location if arriving by train at Kings Cross but also very quiet inside the hotel. The rooms and furnishings are beautiful and the breakfast room is a delight as was the food itself. The hotel does have an unusual layout though, some of the side lounges look lovely but aren’t very accessible, I’d have liked to see drinks served in those areas from the posh cocktail bar but it didn’t seem to be open: maybe you can but nobody told us? "This is a relatively small hotel in a good location handy for Kings Cross. But the thing that sets it apart is the attention to detail. My room was adequate sized with a little kitchen which was a surprise, but it was fitted with a great little fridge, great coffee machine and even had freshly make cucumber sandwiches on arrival. I don’t know if this is what happens for everybody, but I was also given a little gift from Tottenham and Masons as a welcome to the hotel. The room is really well...
