"Note that this is on the north side of the motorway so when heading south we had to do a detour. And when we got to the place we were told that breakfast was back on the north side. And when we left in the morning there was no one around to ask how to get there if we drove as we didn't have much time. We had booked for two nights but only stayed for one."

But there was a mechanical banging noise (like a shoe in a tumble dryer!) from 3.30am both nights we stayed that kept me awake. The whole experience was very 'meh' and we wouldn't recommend unless you are playing golf there."

"The Royal George is a lovely pub and Inn. The food is fantastic and all staff could not have been more attentive and helpful. We had an upstairs room with a balcony overlooking the courtyard. Our room was very nicely appointed, spacious and quiet. Free parking was plentiful on the property (front and back lots). There is a small grocery store a ross the street. It is a beautiful area to walk around and a great base for exploring surrounding towns and attractions."
