"Staff and clean room"

"Wonderful experience! The hotel is in the best part of town, walkable to everything! We are first timers to Portland and fell in love with the city because of this place, the location, the walkability to the best breweries, wine bars, restaurants, etc. We hopped onto the tram and did the A-Loop to get a feel of the city. LOVE IT! Will be back and wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. Also-- the rooftop lounge is 10/10!"

"Location is good. Room and bed were comfortable. Shower is great but needs grab bar!! There is no black tea available- please have some in the lobby and not keurig - tea bags please! Lobby perfume smell is overpowering!! Microwave in the lobby was dirty. Do not like your food area- would rather have breakfast buffet"

"Before booking, there are a few things future guests should know: 1- The rooms did not have a "Do Not Disturb" or "Please Make Up Room" sign or electronic system, which was inconvenient. 2- Unlike most 4- or 5-star hotels, the room did not include complimentary personal toiletries such as a toothbrush, toothpaste, or razor. 3- The hotel parking fee was significantly higher compared to nearby parking options 4- The room cleaning service was also not up to the expected standard. "Property was a little loud (we could hear footsteps of tenants above us) but loved the hip, safe, urban location. Family loved being walking distance to Salt & Straw!"

"The hotel is in the worst part of Portland. They have no parking unless you pay an $80 valet fee. This you have to pay since there is no parking in the streets unless you want to risk parking in an area full of junkies and thieves. The Hoxton knows this, hence the ridiculous “valet fee” plus tip! I was able to park my car in a parking garage after a half hour of stress and exhaustion from my trip. Turns out that’s EXACTLY the place they park the valeted cars you pay $80 for!! RIPOFF JOINT"

"Very nice room and great location. Views were gorgeous and bed was very comfortable. The location was great for walking around town. Had to ask the front desk to send someone to pick up room service trays in the hall - there were 4! Overall would recommend"

"The locations proximity to things like stumptown, Powells books etc is great and the staff is so nice. The hotel has a design flaw though and the walls are paper thin. Fortunately, they realize this and they have white noise machines in every room. They also have black out curtains. The rooms are a little bare bones but I appreciated those two things in comparison to some other Portland hotels that were higher end doing nothing for noise"
