"Had a medical emergency with one of the family members in the hospital stayed two nights wanted to get my third night back. They said I could not. I will never ever use. Expedia and I will always tell friends and relatives never to use them. That is horrible. Going to tell everyone how horrible Expedia is."

"Wonderful trip all around. Beautiful hotel. Delicious food and cocktails. Rooftop pool and bar were outstanding! The gym was quite small and without windows, but that is my only complaint. Hydration stations on every floor are a great feature. Saves you from buying bottled water constantly. Location is perfect. Beach is one of the best I have visited (and I have been to a lot of beaches). You can't go wrong."

"Checked in and back out 5 minutes later. The room smelled musty and moldy, everything in the room was damp. It looks like they put a quick coat of paint on the walls to hide everything that was wrong. Extremely disappointed. No refund either then I was asked if i did anything to the room or could it be re rented… shameful"

"The room was clean but asked for non smoking room, and our room badly smelled like smoke. The ground was full of cigarette butts and there was no place safe for me to walk my Service Dog.
The staff did not speak or understand English, very hard to communicate what was needed.
My husband fell in the very slick bathtub 4/13/2026 and is still hurting on 4/22/2026
This accident was reported to the front desk and nothing was done."

It also made load noises that kept my wife and I up all night!
I would not recommend doubletree to any of my family or friends!
We were promised a suite with a patio that the person at the desk said they did not have suites with patio’s!"

"My toddler and I had a great stay at the Chart House Hotel. The pool and outdoor area was really nice and well-maintained, and the entire property was very clean. The staff stood out as especially friendly and helpful throughout my stay.
One of the biggest advantages is the location — it’s a 5 minute walk to the beach and Pier 60 and a 30 minute drive to Tampa International Airport, which made travel easy.
