"Such an unforgettable Japanese experience in the heart of Kyoto! The traditional house is well kept and equipped, offers us a very comfortable place for living. The place is centrally located, close to JR and metro stations. Close by there are plenty of shopping and dining opportunities, all very local. Communication with the ower was easy and responsive. Highly recommended and I will stay here again next time!"

"Excellent hotel in a beautiful and old building. I believe it was a tea house long ago, now renovated and modernized into a hotel. The staff was very helpful. There are several bus stops nearby, so getting around Kyoto was easy. 7-11 is a few doors down in case you need a quick snack."

"Mom traveling with two teenagers. The room was quiet, clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. However, I gave it a 4 because the room was tiny! It was nice to have three actual beds (not a pullout), but there were no drawers and little space to set items down. There was no unpacking of the suitcases, so if you’re ok with that, this room is tight, but manageable."
