"Clean and new room. Had towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion. Love their scent! Everything was great. The only loud noise that woke us up was the sound of ambulance or police sirens that passed by. The AC makes a bit of a noise but it was like a white noise machine which actually helped drown the noise outside since we're near a main road."

"The location itself is beautiful, it’s close to town and 12 minutes to Monterey. The staff were very courteous and helpful. They have coffee in the office and a food truck in the mornings. I was not able to enjoy the food truck because my schedule was packed but I am definitely looking forward to return here. I felt safe and well taken care of"

"This was an OK visit at the Olympic Lodge. It was clean but could use a bit of a refresher.
The furniture was well worn and the bath had no bar in the shower/tub and needed updating. But I did love the shutters on the sliding glass doors to the deck, they were cool. If you don't do well on stairs, do not stay on the second floor. they are concrete and there are 27 steps with no mid landing. Location is nice, it was quite."

"Check in and check out with the owners were not the friendliest. The area was safe enough. The room itself was clean and updated but very small and cramped. Air conditioner worked fine as did the fridge and microwave. The TV worked only one of the two days we were there. Parking can be limited. Area is walkable. Shower temperature was good but the pressure was low. Wooden blinds over the window looked nice, but let a lot of light in. Less than 10 minutes to Monterey. No breakfast. Mostly...

"It was okay for the price point but there was a lot of renovation noises all day long starting at 6am. The bed was very hard and there were a lot of silver fish bugs in the bathroom on arrival. There were random stains pretty much everywhere (sheets, blankets, shower, walls, ect.). Overall it wasn’t terrible for the price point but we did end up leaving two days early because we couldn’t sleep due to the noise."

"I loved the fire place and how the room door opened into the patio. Very beautiful! Although the shower was gorgeous, we did not like the water pressure in the shower. The pressure was lite. Also, the handicapped parking was situated in the middle of the entrance and exit of the property and was inconvenient. We were also given the wrong time for breakfast. Overall, we give this place 3.5 stars out of 5."

"The room wasn't very spacious, but it was clean, I like that the flooring wasn't carpet. Beds were comfortable. Staff was helpful, quiet and respectful. There is a large shopping center accross the street (which we only discovered on our last day, unfortunatly), Hotel conveniently located close to Carmel and Monterey.
Comparing location, availability and rates with other nearby hotels, I'd stay there again when visiting the area."

"Checking in is done through some third-party website that ask you to take a picture of your drivers license. Who knows what they do with it. When I asked the front staff about it they said they’ve been taking pictures of drivers license licenses for “two decades.” I told him he didn’t have to lie to me about it just to make it sound legitimate. Place was clean. Room was big. A super deluxe room means you get two sides of the room, giving you a view of Highway 1 and all the noise of that highway...
