"The Hemlock House was perfect for our stay. This is the second time we've stayed there, and will again the future. Wes' instructions were clear and easy to follow and he responded to my communications immediately. As advertised and as others have mentioned, it is not a fancy place but is clean and comfortable. "This cabin was exactly what I was looking for. Nice lake, no skiers, great deck, good beds, good pier, all the kitchen hardware you could need and just a cute, cozy atmosphere about the whole thing. If I had one negative thing to say it would be that the owner requires you take your garbage with you. I REALLY don’t like added requirements put on me after I get there. Put it in the listing. "

"Cute vintage place had everything we needed and then some during our extended weekend we went to 13 waterfalls 2 beaches 2 lighthouses 1 casino all withing a few minutes or a couple hours from there!!! One complaint maybe a new toaster .... maybe otherwise highly recommend will come back !!!!"

"Overall, we had a really great time at Haven by the Falls. The icemaker was a nice touch, and we enjoyed reading the vintage fishing books in the living room. The location right in the county park was super fun. For the price, I wish they would have disclosed that there was no air-conditioning. It was a very hot weekend in July. The beds and bedding were also pretty uncomfortable. Again, for the price I would’ve expected something a little better. "

"What a wonderful family vacation! 6 adults and 5 grandkids loved every minute. Beautiful, super spacious log home with a full wrap-around deck. It is nestled into a secluded pine forest on the Lake. Boating, tubing, kayaking, swimming to the islands, campfire, all perfection. The photos just don't do it justice. See for yourself! "
