Our small group enjoyed the accommodations. It's clean and quiet and comfy. We aren't into the typical "north woods" themes so we chose the Powerhouse for its more urban feel. We were able to walk to the coffee shop and restaurants and the brewery and we were still close to Lake Superior. We also enjoyed the hot tub and rooftop patio. Can't wait to go back!

Peaceful getaway

As my wife put it, this place was a perfect mix of things she likes (especially a dark bedroom) and I like (especially the skylight bedroom). Beyond the bedrooms we both enjoyed the spacious common areas, the rooftop patio, the hot tub, everything was perfect. Also appreciated an early check-in when some of our activities that day were cut short by the air quality! Hope to stay again when we're back in the area.

Great quiet relaxing apartment

The property is just as it’s stated. We were looking for a getaway to escape from the daily stress of life and people. Heather’s place definitely fit that need. The apartment was very clean with a warm soothing atmosphere. Ironwood is not a very busy area and that was perfect. Although there are many things to do and see in the area. My wife and I enjoyed grabbing a coffee, just around the corner, and a dinner from a local BBQ food truck also around the corner from the apartment. We got the BBQ to go and enjoyed it on the rooftop balcony, before sliding into the hot tub. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable. If you are looking for relaxing getaway. Check this place out. You won’t regret it.

Excellence in Ironwood

I stayed for 1 night with 3 of my girlfriends as we were passing through town. Heather and her rental were amazing. Communication was outstanding and the rental was very clean. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and relaxing patio. We really enjoyed watching the sunset while soaking in the hot tub. Suffolk Street Eatery is very close and a surprising treat. The food was delicious and healthy!

We've stayed at many rental-by-owner places, and this was one of the best for the money. I love old buildings and this one was beautifully restored with original features. Hot tub is a nice bonus. Walkable downtown Ironwood and quick drive to downtown Hurley.

Good for a group

Beautifully remodeled space. Check in was a little frustrating with older original locks. The locks are charming but traveling alone I felt that they were not completely secure. Hot tub cover is in bad shape and the shower could use an update to completely call it luxury. Overall this is a great place for a group of travelers.
