"First time I have experienced a 4 pm check in. At the same time check out is at 10 am. Both times are very inconvenient, especially the 4 pm check in. The place was clean. If you need your room cleaned you would have to request it, which was not an issue. Good access to transit as buses stop just in front of hotel. Front desk staff was helpful. The area is safe, as I was out walking past midnight and never felt worried."

"We booked this hotel and saw some of the reviews and were really anxious about what it was going to be like BUT and a big BUT we could not fault the stay whatsoever. Spa area was impressive with lots to offer well kept and clean. We had breakfast and the food was spot on. Staff were all super friendly and polite. "Really disappointing experience at Embankment Kitchen. Despite booking a table in advance, we were left waiting far too long. When we arrived, several staff members were clearly present but nobody acknowledged us or even said, “we’ll be with you shortly.” We were simply left standing there wondering what was going on. "Stayed here in February. Check-in was quiet, staff are friendly and helpful. Our room was number 5 and was beautiful with modern equipment. It nice and warm in our room throughout our stay. No need to go out, just get parked and have your evening meal in the pub/restaurant, I can recommend the fish & chips. If you are looking for accommodation in this area, I would definitely recommend Pack Horse. "
