"I would highly recommend anyone doing the shimanami kaido to stay here! It does make for a longer second day to complete the bike ride as it’s before the official halfway point but the hotel it self it absolutely stunning with the onsen we throughly enjoyed everything about this hotel."

The breakfast has more options than I think I’ve ever seen. The grounds were beautiful. It’s a long way from town, but it’s right next to the airport. "We came here for the biking and loved this hotel. It’s not easy to get to by public transport. You’ll want a taxi. The rooms are nice and large by Japan standards. The food was amazing. You don’t pick from a menu but they serve many different kinds of food. It is seafood focused. So if you don’t like seafood it might not be the place for you. We love Japanese style food so we were amazed. Definitely a highlight of our trip. "
