Such an amazing location! Susan, the host was so easy to chat with and it’s very special that she’s right there on her property to make it feel very warm and inviting. The bed was extremely comfortable and the boathouse was decorated with great detail and love. We can’t wait to return.

We had an amazing experience at the Boathouse. The water views are unsurpassed and we even saw bald eagles circling above the bay. Everything is so wonderfully comfortable and furnished so well that it was hard to leave. You can take wonderful walks in the quiet and beautiful neighborhood or along the beach. We can’t wait to come back.

My sister and I enjoyed our stay at the “boathouse”. The location is perfect and has a beautiful water view. Even though we didn’t cook, the kitchen has everything needed to prepare meals. Very clean and comfortable beds, we will definitely stay here again when visiting family. Property is as described and Susan responds very quickly to questions.

Thoughtful property with beautiful view

Property is as pictured, with thoughtful amenities and notes for guests. Everything is laid out for guests to be self sufficient and have all needs met. Home is comfortable, clean and quiet, access to beach is easy, and communication with owner was prompt. Would stay here again, perfect property to slow down and relax.

Just right!

This is a lovely, very comfortable property in a quiet beachfront neighborhood! Susan is a welcoming host who has decorated and stocked the boathouse with care. We enjoyed being able to easily access the beach and the location was perfect for exploring around the Kitsap Peninsula. Highly recommend!

Lovely, Relaxing, Beach Retreat

This was my first time booking a stay through VRBO, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The studio apartment was immaculate, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for our nearly three-week stay. The location—just steps from the beach—was perfect and made our time there incredibly relaxing.What truly stood out was the host’s hospitality. She was incredibly accommodating, efficient, and helpful. As a first-time guest, I had a few questions early on, and she responded right away with clear and supportive guidance. Amazing view and property

The boathouse is exactly as described and located on a quiet street with direct access to the beach. We had a great time visiting family in the area and looked forward to returning to our quiet boathouse each evening. Highly recommend!

Exceptional studio beach stay

We loved Susan’s place. Perched above her garage, beautifully decorated in nautical theme, she’s thought of every convenience a guest could need, neatly described, easy to find. Super thoughtful!! A 1 minute walk to the spit beach, located in a very scenic, bucolic, quiet neighborhood, this is a lovely space to take in the Kitsap Penisula. Highly recommend.

Great Stay

Not only was the location cozy and clean, but the host was also very quick to reply when I did feel the need to reach out. The living and sleeping area was spacious enough for two adults and the kitchenette was stocked as we had expected (with basic utensils and cooking capabilities). The neighborhood is quiet and secluded which was nice to return to after the day's adventures. Checking in and out was seamless too, and there were clear instructions included as well. I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a quiet getaway!
